IP-based Keyboard Video Mouse Switching and Extension for Remote Computer Control
IP-based KVM enables the extension and switching of video and peripheral signals across a dedicated IP network (copper or fibre), a local area network (LAN) or even the internet. The main advantages of this technology are its extended flexibility and
scalability.
IT experts are certain that the rise of IP-based KVM and AV distribution is a trend that will continue into the future. This technology ensures continued collaboration and control in expanding enterprises. IP-based extension and switching, as well as
cloud-based matrix switching, provides a high degree of workflow efficiency, cost effectiveness and ensures future productivity.

The award winning Emerald Unified KVM delivers pixel-perfect HD or 4K video, audio and USB 2.0 signals over an IP network, a proprietary direct connection or both.
This high-performance KVM matrix switching solution provides high-speed access to both physical and virtual servers - with virtual machine support for VMware®, Microsoft® and Citrix®.

Agility uses an IP network to extend and switch DVI video, USB peripherals, including keyboard, video, and mouse, RS232, and audio. Agility transmitters and receivers extend signals over CATx cable up to 100 meters (330 feet), and even farther with the
addition of network switches.
In point-to-point and matrix switching configurations, Agility delivers up to dual-link video resolutions at very low latency. It uses multicast (IGMP) technology, so it doesn't slow down a network when distributing video.
